Fast accurate results are obtained, which is perfect for hard to reach areas or projects with strict time restrictions. For example a recent civils client was faced with a 1hr shutdown, where data needed to be captured to report on construction progress. We are able to gain relative point cloud accuracy of around 1cm without ground control points, or 1cm absolute accuracy is achievable with GCP. The absolute accuracy of the rig (without ground control) is around 5cm, so great for our cut and fill projects or topo mapping.
